It provides nutrition services, breastfeeding support, health care and social service referrals and healthy foods to eligible participants.

Who can apply for WIC?

· Pregnant women

· Women who are breastfeeding a baby under one year of age

· Women who have had a baby in the past six months

· Children under age 5: parents, step-parents, guardians, and foster parents of children under age five can apply for their children.
